Join us at our annual Earth Month event, this year at Reid Park Zoo! This event is for SEWING REPAIRS only (clothes, toys, bags, etc ... ) Bring your own item(s) to repair, or create your own upcycled fabric toy!

About the event
Join us for our annual Earth Month event, this time at the Reid Park Zoo’s Party for the Planet. This event takes place on April 18th from 9AM to 12PM.
We will be creating animal toys out of donated fabric, buttons, thread, and toy stuffing to introduce kids to sewing and save materials from the landfill! We will also be repairing anything that requires sewing (shirts, bags, toys, etc ... )
WE ARE ACTIVELY SEEKING VOLUNTEERS FOR THIS EVENT!
All sewing volunteers are welcome. Please email tucsonrepaircafe@gmail.com if you would like to volunteer at our biggest sewing event of the year!
